Phil has proven expertise in sourcing and structuring debt for lower middle market companies and private equity firms. Phil is a 1990 graduate of the University of Michigan, residing in Phoenix with his wife and 3 children.

Rick Lopez has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with fifteen years spent serving the Middle Market. Rick has provided financing and guidance to companies across various types of ownership and industries. Rick has a Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned his MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He resides in Naperville with his wife and 2 children.

Zach has over 8 years of Investment Banking and PE/VC experience, with a focus on capital raises, M&A, and strategic advisory. Prior to joining Rush Street, Zach worked at an investment banking firm, as well as a Chicago-based family office, focused on investments in the lower/middle market. He is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and advises startups in his free time. Zach earned his Masters degree at the University of Notre Dame's, Mendoza College of Business. Zach resides in the Gold Coast neighborhood, but you can find him on the golf course or Lake Michigan.

James Sheehan has over 5 years of Investment Banking experience. Prior to joining Rush Street Capital, James worked in Institutional Sales at a Chicago-based Equity Research firm. James has a Bachelors degree from Miami University of Ohio, and resides in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, studying American history, and supporting Cleveland sports teams.
